Luciano and Regina as family on mission
The Christian faith is our foundation and motivation.
About us
Who we are
We are Regina and Luciano, married since September 2018 and parents of our daughter Elena born in 2022. Together we are on mission for God.
Me Luciano, am a trained automation engineer. My budding passion is sustainable and regenerative agriculture.
Me Regina, am a trained health professional and have training in psychosocial support (counseling).
Vision
Our vision
We see ourselves on our own property with a garden and a few animals to develope the farm in a way that you can get insights into different farming methods or how to keep animals. Also, the farm should be accessible for training purposes for specific interest groups, school classes or as an outreac for groups or organizations but also for the self-sufficiency of us as a family.
This place will be a place of peace, safety and acceptance for everyone, especially children/youth or adults with families who need a time out opportunity with accompanying pastoral care. Through all these opportunities we give people the opportunity to get to know Jesus and grow in faith and fellowship together through Bible studies or prayer meetings.
Why?
We want to see people's lives changed in the physical, mental and spiritual realms.

Our Way
What we did and do
In January 2021, we visited a School for Sustainable Development (SSD) of Youth with a Mission in Costa Rica. This included three months of practical training in the agricultural sector. In addition, there was a two-month assignment in Kenya and Malawi to directly implement what we had learned.
From September to November 2021, we completed mission preparation training from OM in Kabwe, Zambia, regarding a longer mission in Zambia. A few months after completing the training, back in Switzerland, our course changed. Due to protracted work visa uncertainties, we finally took the reins into our own hands and decided not to travel to Zambia for 2 years as planned.
At the end of September 2022, we traveled as a family to Costa Rica, to the already familiar base of Youth with a Mission in Heredia.
These are our current areas of responsibility
The focus for us is the existing farm, which has an organic garden and a few animals and is used for training purposes for mission teams or school classes. What we grow ourselves is processed and consumed directly and some of it is also passed on to social projects in the area, such as the homeless ministry. Cheese and yoghurt are made from the cow's milk and the surplus is sold locally to make the farm as self-sustaining as possible.
During the discipleship training schools, which are run by the base, we are passionate about mentoring and supporting young people.
Another heartbeat of ours is to accompany families during their short-term mission on base.
