Es geht weiter / It continues

Seit der Geburt von Elena Mitte März ist schon viel Zeit vergangen. Aktuell warten wir auf den positiven Bescheid unseres Visumsantrags, damit wir als Familie für 2 Jahre in Sambia leben und arbeiten dürfen.

Ab jetzt sind wir mit 3 Pässen unterwegs. Elena's Passfoto als einmonatiges Baby wird sie die nächsten 5 Jahre begleiten :)

Als nächstes buchen wir die Flüge und konkretisieren unsere Einsatzideen. Die konkrete Ideengestaltung unserer zukünftigen Tätigkeiten braucht Zeit und Geduld. In der Zwischenzeit vom letzten Sambia Aufenthalt bis jetzt hat sich immer wieder mal eine Idee ergeben und wurde dann aber wieder über den Haufen geworfen. Mit dem besseren kulturellen Verständnis und etwas Distanz versuchen wir nun unsere Projekte entsprechend anzupassen. Immer wieder dürfen wir unsere Sorgen und Unsicherheiten Gott abgeben (abgeben heisst, sie nicht wieder mitnehmen und sich weiter sorgen) und werden mit Frieden im Herzen gesegnet. Dazu kamen überraschend neue Ideen auf, es ergaben sich plötzlich wertvolle Kontakte usw. Er sorgt wirklich und das richtig gut!

Die Ausreise ist stand jetzt auf Anfang September geplant, da wir die Wohnung bis Ende August mieten und Luciano bis Ende August arbeitet. Danach nehmen wir uns einige Tage Zeit, bevor unsere abenteuerliche Reise mit Kleinkind losgeht.

It continues

Since the birth of Elena in mid-March, a lot of time has passed. Currently, we are waiting for the positive approval of our visa application so that we can live and work as a family in Zambia for 2 years.

From now on we are on the road with 3 passports. Elena's passport photo as a one month old baby will accompany her for the next 5 years :)

Next, we will book the flights and concretize our mission ideas. The concrete ideas for our future activities need time and patience. In the meantime, from the last stay in Zambia until now, ideas have come up from time to time, but then they were thrown out again. With a better cultural understanding and some distance, we now try to adapt our projects accordingly. Again and again, we are allowed to give our worries and insecurities to God (to give them means not to take them away again and continue to worry) and are blessed with peace in our hearts. In addition, surprisingly new ideas came up, suddenly valuable contacts arose, etc. He really cares and that really well!

The departure is now planned for the beginning of September since we rent the apartment until the end of August and Luciano works until the end of August. After that, we will take a few days before our adventurous trip with our little sunshine starts.
